This partnership led to the creation of Campie, a SubDAO under Magpie, dedicated to improving the functionalities of Camelot's xGRAIL structure. The initiative aims to extend DeFi's reach and influence, opening new opportunities for users and the broader community. Through Campie, Magpie seeks to enhance the capabilities of Camelot, thereby reinforcing its position within the DeFi landscape and providing additional benefits to its users.

Integration Details

GRAIL serves as the governance token for Camelot, offering multiple utilities. Users can lock their GRAIL into xGRAIL to boost their yields and engage in Camelot's governance activities.

xGRAIL is the locked form of the GRAIL token, which cannot be traded or transferred. To access voting rights and earn rewards, users need to lock their GRAIL as xGRAIL within Camelot and distribute it across various plugins.

Campie provides GRAIL holders with the chance to earn increased rewards. It also offers cost-effective voting power to Camelot voters and enables liquidity providers to achieve higher APR without locking any of their GRAIL tokens as xGRAIL.

Stake mGRAIL - GRAIL holders have the opportunity to amplify their rewards by converting their assets into mGRAIL. By staking mGRAIL on Campie, users earn rewards for their active participation from the platform.
Boosted Yields - Campie's xGRAIL holdings allow liquidity providers to deposit their assets on the platform and benefit from increased rewards. This eliminates the need for them to individually lock their GRAIL as xGRAIL to maximize their earning potential.
Cost-Effective Voting Power - The voting power that Campie has accumulated through xGRAIL is set to be distributed among vlCMP holders, enabling them to participate efficiently in Camelot's governance. CMP, the upcoming governance token of Campie, will be lockable as vlCMP, granting access to its benefits. Holders of Vote-Locked CMP will be able to earn rewards for their active participation and influence Camelot's governance, maximizing their rewards in the process. Users will need to wait 30 days for their vlCMP to be fully unlocked and converted back to CMP.
